They have 2 38 TF's at the show. A quad motor black one and the triple blue one.

Such a deal maybe I'll buy 2.
Looks like they have made some positive improvements over the first few that were released.

front deck looks Orca-ish (is that a word?)

whomever was running the demo boat needs a serious lesson in docking, it was really not funny seeing how difficult a time he was having, one of the peep's that got off the boat made a comment that if the factory guy couldn't dock it in 10 minutes, he wasn't going to buy one... FOUR engines and you can't get the boat in ONE slip, on THREE attempt's, with NO current ??

$450K and no bow thruster?
They to get rid of that stupid round plastic hatch over the cabin. Looks like they got it out of the West Marine catalog. Mold into the deck for god sake.

I like it, but if I was gonna drop that much coin, I would wait until the Saber 41 cc is done and then compare the two. dollar for dollar my money would go with Saber...and I'm a happy Cig owner.

Buy a Contender, put $300K in the bank and have a great time. It is one thing to build a great "go-fast" boat and is a completely different thing to build a fishing boat. You just can't put a center console in it and let 'er rip.

I've had 3 Contender's and the first 35' they built... I really liked them...

with that said, the Spectre CC I saw with the twin diesel I/O's are just fascinating boats, and VERY workable designs, and 200k cheaper than the Cig outboard versionss. I would have to say that Spectre CC was my favorite pick of the show... with twin 425HO's that is THE MacDaddy setup... IMO

the 38 Contender Express was just an awesome machine as well... imagine that with triple 350 Yammi's...,. yowzaaa

back to Cig open talk...
