That used to be my boat and got tied up with the national marine bull sh** but it ran great.To bad that happened

That boat ran awesome on the bay 87 mph @ 5100 rpm made me buy another one.

My neighbor had the boat somewhere in between you and the guy that took it into the woods. You're right - great running beautiful boat.

I believe it was the Tickfaw poker run. Tight turns in the "bayous", guy came around the corner too fast, hit a wake and put him into the trees. Also heard he was putting some back at the bar prior. That's how I heard it at least.

Also heard the boat was gone through by thieves while it sat in the trees.

The driver was not wearing lanyards. If he had been, the boat probably would have come to a rest in or near the channel once the mishap occurred. The boat went into the trees unmanned.
