Customryder where is that boat now?

The boat picture that I posted is in the Northeast and is alive and well, the one Custom posted is in the salvage yard somewhere.

Its at David Wade Marine it is tore up bad. Going thru some Insurance thing are something like that. It will be stripped and hull crushed after the insurance people get done with it david told me.

I tried to upload more pics but not uploading server must have a problem.

That used to be my boat and got tied up with the national marine bull sh** but it ran great.To bad that happened

Here it is before the trip into the swamp.

That boat ran awesome on the bay 87 mph @ 5100 rpm made me buy another one.

My neighbor had the boat somewhere in between you and the guy that took it into the woods. You're right - great running beautiful boat.

I believe it was the Tickfaw poker run. Tight turns in the "bayous", guy came around the corner too fast, hit a wake and put him into the trees. Also heard he was putting some back at the bar prior. That's how I heard it at least.

Also heard the boat was gone through by thieves while it sat in the trees.

My fav............

The driver was not wearing lanyards. If he had been, the boat probably would have come to a rest in or near the channel once the mishap occurred. The boat went into the trees unmanned.

It sounds like the driver was hurted or something ...

Do you think the boat will be trown away ??

Four people took a bath and walked away. Very lucky. It happened last May at Tickfaw, a poker run in Baton Rouge. The boat probably will be made into plastic cups! See earlier post.

i saw this boat in put in bay a few years ago the paint still looks new......My next boat will be a mistress...........is it still around

Ok...I know that you guys will think that this would be insane but .....what if someone wants to buy and try to fix it in some way ??

How it would be possible to move ??

You get involved with the insurance people, lawyers and a lot of unwanted problems. It's not impossible but it's not easy. Depends on how the insurance company classified the hull, total write off, partial or ??.

That was us up at the bay.................. Thanks for the compliment, my pops worked hard to keep the boat look good. We wound up selling the boat to the canadian side of lake st.clair.
