I restored that boat from a bare hull and used it for two seasons. It's had some nice upgrades(K-Planes) since then...
If yuo have any questions, let me know. I know you rerigged that 28 Cig with Bravo's. I'm in the midst of putting Bravo Imco Xr's on a 28 Cigarette. What depth below the bottom of the hull did you set the prop shafts at? What speed did you acheive with what horsepower? How well did it jump on plane? Thanks, Barry |
Barry,
It's been a while, let me check to see if i have any notes.... I know we set it pretty high and the boat jumped on plane with no blowout... we ran 67 with 300hp per side and 24" bravo 1 props at about 4900 rpms... the props needed to be labbed and the boat would probably have seen 70. Sean |
