Not sure I'd call it a fever (yet). Sort of an "itch" right now. :)

as you know it grows... you will start to sweat, & you whole body is in a big rash... then all you money leaves...:p :D :D

The boat gatherings have women with nice cans and usually are around 19 or 20, or made to look 19 or 20, but at the Ferrari events the women are 70 and have big straw hats, or its just a sausage fest with no women at all
So Heffe must be starting to figure out that Boating= BABES :D

Also, if you run out of gas in a boat, you get laughed at, and some type of award...if you run out of gas in a Ferrari your black balled and banned  not too mention at least in a boat you may get a buddy to throw you a rope and bring you were you need to go, in a Ferrari you just get a cute little honk and wave as they go by :evilb:

LOL Heffe!!

Jimbo

Jeffrey 03-14-2007 11:42 PM

You guys know I couldn't stay away forever now could I? :) It's on its way to this side of the country as we speak. Should be here early next week. I always said only one boat would bring me back ... a stepped Tiger. Also, the opportunity had to "right" in other ways. :)

Merc 575s
Bravo ITS XRs

Dave - As for the money flying out of my bank account ... there is none left to fly out so it's irrelevant! :)
Tom - Thanks! Look forward to running with the group again!

Hey Tank. You are correct. The owners are from Santa Barbara. I never saw the boat out here but then again I haven't been boating in a while! :) I don't think they were SCOPE material anyway from what I hear.

I heard they have a captain that basically takes care of all their boats. Obviously a very wealthy family. They have the boat towed around the country to various events. You are also correct - they did buy two straight bottom Tigers. According to their captain the twin step has never gone over 70mph! He even said he doesn't think the engines were ever red-lined once! Anyway, they are the original owners.

As for Havazoo ... I was all pumped about it and then realized that I have an out of town wedding to attend that weekend. :(

Okay Poodle, first, those pics with chics were not at a car show, those were probably in the valet at some Newport hot spot and they saw you and the Ferrari and said $$ cha ching $$, the one girl winked getting in because she was sending you the signal that she wants you to start paying her bills :evilb:

As far as the boat  I knew you couldn't stay away, and what the hell is this about missing the Havasu PR because of a wedding, Heffe, if you need some reality check...come spend a weekend at my house, wife, 2 kids, you can see what its all about, and then you can go to Havasu, have a cupcake and mail your friend a card and enjoy...probably might be fun if you can get the Ferrari photo girls to come too :drink:

Congrats on the boat...see you at the kick off, don't poodle

Jimbo

GLH 03-15-2007 12:43 PM

Congrats Jeff.

Again the people boating in descent water get the serious rides... :D

BTW those chicks in the Ferrari although serious, very serious, eye candy, they are still wearing way, way, way, way too much.

We need "belt in the pulley" kind of wear, to use some offshore terms. :D

I was driving along I-10 and this cigarette appeared behind me. I tried to lose it but I could not shake it loose. I am going to stop in the next major town and thow some baylliner stickers over the cig logo's so that I look llike I am towing a real boat.

last ones. I guess I will just have to drag this thing all the way home with me like a wayward child.

Jupiter Sunsation 03-15-2007 07:39 PM

BG Didn't you learn anything, you should tow with the cover on to keep the interior clean!

Too Old 03-15-2007 07:46 PM

Very nice Jeffery! Welcome back to the wonderful world of water.:D

Congratulations and enjoy the new Tiger.

THEJOKER 03-15-2007 07:58 PM

That white interor will be black soon. I always tow w/ cover and tape good w/ shrink wrap tape , never had a problem.

THEJOKER 03-15-2007 07:59 PM

Oh by the way , nice boat. I love the 575's.

Jeffrey 03-15-2007 08:08 PM

I'm not towing it! :) Someone else is towing it! However, I did agree to allow it to be towed without the cover. Have always towed my boats that way. The one and only time I towed it with the cover - some of the snaps came loose and beat the crap out of the gelcoat. The interior doesn't get that dirty unless you have a diesel stack shooting diesel out the top!

customryder 03-15-2007 08:29 PM

The boat looks very clean... Congrats!
