Has anyone ever replaced one or have you just put in a new one if so what did you put in

The existing one is epoxied into the hull and glassed over Its bad so I beed to replace with a new one

i had to do it to mine..just went slowly and chipped all the epoxy transducer out and used a new one from gaffrig that was the same unit, then epoxied back in...wasnt bad to do at all.

well I guess I will just break out the dremel and do it
what did you use for epoxy?

i used west systems and i mixed it part a and part b to fill the hole for the most part, then i mixed some of their powder to thicken and fair it out. hope this helps
