otis311 03-31-2007 09:43 AM

Come on Randy, Give us the details !!! Who bought it, and more importantly, What are you getting now ?????

stecz20 03-31-2007 11:56 AM

hes lieing....:D

Wild 03-31-2007 12:12 PM

Ill let the new owners tell ya about there weekend in miami, they are members

Thanks for your help Phil - I couldnt get to maimi this weekend so phil hooked em up and took them for a ride.

My next boat will be a lipship, thats all i know right now. I have a 32 Active thunder i have to sell also, once that is gone it will be buy time. The 46 is awsome but may be to big, after watching rum runner trying to manuver around the docks in wind, tide, engine surge, etc ... it seams like alot of work and stress, if i got a 46 it would probably stay at LOTO and not go to FL for the winter - my wife loves the 39 for the cabin and sun pad, i like the 700 package, but the $ is crazy. A 36 is not out of the questions but i would have to drive one since i am 6'3", alot of options. The 36 would be good for LOTO since have a condo, but the KW trip would suck with luggage.

OH Well, what a problem to have :D Guess i will be making alot of trips to miami this spring

$hit, My 36' Gladiator has twice the room for luggage than the Tiger did !! It just has to fit thru a 2'x2' hole on the front deck

The '99 Carbon Fiber F-2 should be in Louisiana within the next month:drink: . Phil is going to take care of a couple dings in the paint while it's still there and then we'll make the trek down to pick her up.

I've got to give a big thanks to Phil and Randy both. It was quite a stressful weekend between late flights and screwed up car rental reservations but we finally got to Lip-Ship on Friday around 3:30pm and Phil was ballz to the wall so didn't have a chance to sea trial until Saturday morning:( . Problem was, we were scheduled to just fly down and back on Friday so all our reservations had to be "pushed" to Satuday and we had to find a room and buy more clothes to wear. That accomplished, the sea trial went great and the deal is done other than getting the serial numbers to the finance company to finalize the deal.

Randy, thanks for the way you handled a difficult situation on Thursday. You stood by your word and that's difficult to do when you have someone ready to hand you a check.

Lip-Ship is also everything it is advertised to be. Phil is absolutely a great guy. Treated my wife and I like we had been doing business with him for years. The quality of his work is evident in the other boats currently at his shop. My next Cig will definitely come through Phil.

Ironically, my neighbor from across our marina, unbeknownst to me, was at Phil's Saturday morning also looking at the red and blue '04 TS TG. He purchased also so we'll have 2 "new" Lip-Ships in Louisiana very soon. Phil also sold Tigress on Saturday as well. A productive little Saturday for Philly!:D

Can't wait to get the girl home and on the lift. Don't worry Randy, she'll be handled with plenty of TLC. Stalkin will have some Ciggie company in the marina now.

Congrats Randy.

Cigs sell if their prices are not insane for what you get. Yours was fairly priced and is a killer ride to boot.

Best of luck with the fun part... Shopping!

It'll be the one parked WAAAYYYYY away from the dock.:D If people thought I was anal about the Formula, they ain't seen nuthin' yet! The pictures of the boat just don't do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful in person. Also, new set of E-tops, sea strainers and DVD system. Randy definitely maintained her with an open checkbook.

Congrats bro!! I know we talked about some other option (before Randys boat was in your sites) and I'm glad Randy's boat worked out for you. It is SUPER clean and looks/runs great! You and James are going to be king sh!t up there:D Maybe Kelly and I will see you guys some time this summer if we finally take James up on his invites.

Wild 04-02-2007 09:51 PM

The only other thing i was thinking about doing to the cig was to mount a front and rear facing camera on the center lifting ring on the deck- that way you could run all day then come back and take the chip out and watch it at night or watch it at the dock on the DVD player - That would cool,

Thanks Tank. I saw Jeffery bought that Tiger. I would've loved to have it but it was a little over what I was planning to spend and Randy's fit the bill perfectly. I told Phil you were his shameless pimp but he said that was cool. As long as the boats keep flying out the door!:D

You need to take James up on his offer. If you guys don't come down here for something, meet us in Destin for the Emerald Coast. Absolute kick in the azz. James has been pumping me about doing Havasu one year too. This year is out as I'm in the middle of starting up a new business but next year.....:drink:
