The layout looks like a 39 OL to me, I love that boat. Saw it at the KWPR in 05. Center helm is cool, like old school Apache!

The best looking center steer 39 TGU was the one they had at Offshore-Performance, I believe it was also in a couple of Cigarette ads. Center steer is cool and even though you don't see them advertised anymore, Cigarette will build you one.

My buddy and I went to Ocean Performace in 05 to buy that boat, when he saw the center steer he passed and ordered a standard one. I know the original owner, he had more than his share of problems with the boat, wasn't a happy camper, not sure what he has now.

I also would pass on any boat that was center steer. Just don't like it.

what are supposed to be the advantages of having a center steer in a pleasure set up?
