I really like this one ..... can't stop lookin at it ! Help me out a little here guys ..... How many hours they "usually" get outtof a set of Zuls like that ? Also , what about the drive life with the TNT / Imco upgrade ???? And , finanlly ... will the Zuls run on 89 octane , or do they need 92 ect ..... ????

I believe Kevin Schulte (owns one of Tom A's old 'out of control' T/S Guns with Zul tunnel rammed 750s) has about 400 hours on his with out a rebuild or major failure.

BLEE had a 38 with zul 600+ Motors in his. You should ask him How many hrs did he had on his motors & same drive before he sold the boat I think is was bout 300+ hrs on it never had any problems . Keep in mind that Phil's new 38 is lighter them the avg. 38 because the fuel tank smaller do to a new design tank .
I can say that I was in this boat with phil when he was testing it and it's runs.
I am going down to LIP SHIP with ZUL this week for some testing it should be fun because there is a few more MPH left to get out of this boat.

That's right. It was like 280 hours when I sold it, and the new owner put another 100 on them before deciding to freshen. Excellent engines. See you in Havasu Rick!
