the boat was raced for a very short time, rigged and raced by tres martin

What kind of speeds do you all think with that power? I'm thinking 100?????
Current speeds are around 94mph, with a little more tweaking and dialing in you might see more
It just doesnt appeal to most in my opinion. Most just want to go boating, not wrenching and blowing drives every weekend. I personally need a place where I can pass out for the night.

as far as the drives go they are bullet proof with all the modification made to them, the motors are wrench free, dyno sheets to back, turn the key and go!

and as far as the place to pass out goes, for 8500$ you can go straight to Cigarette and get a cover girl cabin, identical (only newer) than the boat above that just sold. So for 129k, plus 8500$ if you need a place to crash, its a pretty good deal

I think that's the case, the market is soft, and it's spring ... . Not good. Fuel prices and high insurance costs are too much for people to deal with.

Agreed, without the MAXX, the paint would be great. Unfortunately, it is integrated into the rest of the graphics on both sides and the deck. It would take a lot of work ($$) to remove it.

Personally, I really like the boat. Having owned one of the F2 T/S Guns, they really are a fun boat to operate and I wouldn't think twice about buying another. Unfortunately, to suit my picky tastes, by the time I add the paint change, updated engine hatch, new controls, updated dash & gauges, windscreen, perelli flooring, a few small vinyl upgrades and a little work in the cabin, I would have a little too much money in it. However, with all of that work completed, you would have a masterpiece. If a person could live with the boat the way it is, it is an awesome buy at that price!!

I think that the MAXX is painted on.

If only my name was Maxx ... I'd be on my way to buy that beeotch!

Enough of the playing around....now for a serious question.

What is the difference between this boat and Lucky Strike besides the difference in power and drives? LS's boat runs as fast with alot less HP (200??). Is it a weight thing? setup? the bottom???
