I have thought of that boat many times in the past. To restore it with updated gauges, new paint and int. that would be a bad ass ride. In another post it was said that it had a porpusing problem.

Definately BAD ASS.I am afraid that though that since the majority of componets (if not all the componets)are over 15 years old the price of admission may be way to steep for a single purpose race boat of that age..(Add in new power,staggered headers,paint,cockpit,ect and before you know it you are at the 200 grand mark.) For that kind of money i can be in a 2000 Tiger with 6S , 1000 hp blower engines,cabin ect.

Fantastic looking boat that shows new (available thru Ocean Performance )but in that price range (150,000.-200,000.)am i better off with a much newer 6 drive Tiger which has far greater resale (age ,cabin ,full cockpit )then a boat that before long will be 20 years old which has no cabin and only holds 3 people.Please help.Also the boat at Cumberland has been for sale for years does anyone know if the price (90,000.00)is the only determining factor as to why it has not sold.Thanks again Joe.

Dude, I hate to be the one to say it, but just like in the apache threads you started;

1. your are looking at a "race" boat.
2. it has been raced....hard, to win, not to look pretty.
3. it is designed to go fast and keep the occupants safe.
4. they didnt care about a cooler for drinks.
5. any motors that sit for a good number of years are going to need some sort of work.
6. you are looking at a "race" boat
7.if you are worried about resale, maybe you should stick to cars.
8. did I mention it is a race boat?

good luck
