its worth 35k easy
all kidding aside 30k seams about right imho.
unless you do all the work yourself you will have double that in it to bring it back. your better off buying one that has already been re-done if you can find one you like.
wait a year and ill sell you mine

I bought this one for just shy of $16K back in '02. Did all the work myself including the upholstry carpentry. Plan on doing that because the engine hatch frame and the lower bench seat frame will be compost. Was into the boat for apprx $30-35K. Used it for almost 3 years but when it was gone there was nothing wrong with that boat.
IMO your better off taking a look at John's (lakeluvr) Bullet. It's the cleanest I've seen and not to mention ready to use.

CIG1988 How bad of shape was your boat in when you bought it????????? Also what does it take to convert the cockpit to all white instead of that ugly black?????? Are the any others for less than $30K on the market????

The boat was ROUGH. I removed the engines, gimbal housings etc etc. Refinished everything A-Z. I had a good source for Merc parts at cost that saved me a million dollars.
As far as the white out it cost me less than a grand to do the gauges with paint. If I had to pay someone to do everything I did it would be beyond what John is looking to get for his Bullet.

I've only seen 1 Bullet advertised for less than 30K, and it had been sunk! I have seen decent/good examples for between 30 and 40K. To get one that has been updated with new upolstery and whited out cockpit and has fairly fresh engines and drives, you'll easily spend 45-55K if not more.
My personel budget would not allow that much, hence, I bought a running project boat that will take a few years to get it how I'd like it (including new paint) and I'll likely spend 15-20 to get it there and have a total of 50K in the boat. BTW, make sure you check the fresh water and waste systems, you can spend 1-2 grand to bring them on-line if you have to replace tanks.
The choice is what your budget will allow, but you can spend it up front or over time and have the same product. I personally love the Bullet. Handles great and can hang with the big boys. And Ilike having something different. Attached is a fairly recent pic with the deck graphics.
