Thanks cig1988 for the post. I keep trying to tell people that. Oh well, maybe some folks don't like the American flag as much as I do. Sure stands out in a crowd tho, and everyone that sees it remembers it. Thanks again.

Lakeluvr's boat with the flag looks nice also. Nice ride.

When I mentioned in the above post it would cost 15-20 grand to get my boat really sweet, I was planning to do the dash mods myself, my best friend is a master mechanic, and I have a decent contact for my upholstery. All these items will hopefully be mostly done for materials, beer and rides. The only thing that was going to cost big bucks would be paint and graphics.

Count on 15-20 grand with you doing a fair portion of the work. You turn it over to a performance place for the work, it may cost another 10 grand.

If I can make another suggestion, there is a 35' Mistress (older Cig) with 540's listed on this site that you may want to check out. I last saw the boat a few weeks ago. I thought it really looked sweet and was in excellent shape. But it has the classic flat deck that some may not like. Personally, I like the look. I've run with him and I think it's a 70+ mph boat that can handle the rough stuff.

I know the boat. He's a friend of mine and can atest to it being a solid boat when he ran it. He never beat on it and he took really good care of it when he was using it. Like most of us he ran out of time to use it so it's been sitting for a while. I can tell you right now you can grab it for $30K.
