Default GLH is buying a BAJA?

http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o17641-en.html

I read the description quickly and it looked like it said family moving up to a Sunseeker or a Baja. I re-read it and realized my mistake it was Baia.

Nice boat for someone........

Baja, Baia, whats the difference? It looks like GLH's boat is banned from the lake due to excessive and unnaturally high rooster tails.

Did the KWPR with this Baia two years ago and it threw a monster rooster tail! Boat ran high 50's low 60's if I remember correctly.

There is a Baia on our lake. Nothing cooler then watching a 60 foot cruiser roar by at 50 knots throwing a huge rooster.

And then watching the wake roll over the bow and into your cockpit!

One of my friends used to own a Cig. He sold it and bought a 44 Stryker sportfish. It was a beautiful all white aluminum boat that was gorgeous, but slightly underpowered.
One day, he left Boston for Nantucket, and while close to Nantucket , a 60 foot Baia blew by him, rooster tail and all. He looked at my other friend and said "big deal". When he finally got to Nantucket he was told that the Baia got there first and also got the last slip! Boy, was he pissed.

P.S. About 8 years ago, I looked at a 40 or 44 Magnum with big diesels that had just been redone. I have to admitt that as fast as it was , driving it was pretty boring. I wasn't ready to take that route at the time, but, we are all getting older and maybe one day? NAH!!
