I'm sure the 700's and NXT's would produce some great speed numbers but with the tradeoff of price - ouch!!! My choice would be 525's w/ITS for initial cost and simplicity of maintenance. I would imagine speeds with the 525's would be in the low 90's?

Here's the recall on the staggered 525s! I'd call it 87mph!!!

There's a 06 39 at GSC, with 525's that looks sharp. Only a 3/4 cabin. We are headed to LOTO Friday morning and gonna head to the dog to see some hardware. Hopefully get some ideas there. I don't think you can go wrong with the 525 setup.

I thought the standard 38 would run 88 w/525's. Maybe I was wrrrr, wrrrrrrrrr.....I was mistaken!!

pretty impressive for a 38TS non stagger.....



early november in Long Island was nice crisp air 4....always did 87 and change.....

38 is faster with 525s you need something more that 525s in the 39 ap per Phil..

Never thought about it that way. Phil's results are hard to argue with. The 38 with 675 Zul's that he got to run 102 was pretty impressive too. Granted, it had some mods to the extension boxes, etc. Would like to see a 39 with those mills and see what the numbers are.

Thanks For All The Feedback Guys .... I Have Zero Access To Anything Above 89 Octane Fuel Within 70 Miles Of My Dock ... Need To Resolve This .... Thinking A Smaller Boat With Stock 525 May Be The Answer !?!??!
