30 Mystique owners questions
Questions on non-step boats. Is there really a porposing problem? You have to run the tabs down? Is this why Cigarette stopped making them? Looking at an 02 in texas.
thanks for any input.

Yes, you must have the tabs down or it will porpoises. I was told you could have the notch removed and that will stop it.
I don't think that is why Cigarette stoped making them. I think they stoped making them because with a few more pounds of resin and glass they could make a bigger boat and another $150K.

I own a 2000 Mystique and it does porpose without a lot of tab. I knew that when I bought it but a 30 Cigarette was the size and brand I was doing. I definitely wasnt spending an extra $150, 000 on a new 30 Cig. I love my Mystique and all it means is that you need some skills on driving it. I thought all the later Mystiques like the 02's were twin stepped.

The 2002 I am looking at has no steps. And I asked them to check the year, so I quess they made both step and none step in 02. If I can swing it , I will be a Cigarette owner, and I do want a 30' er. But I can't justify dragging the tabs around. Fuel cost too much already.
