My friend and Boardmember MRP357 purchased a new Myco Trailer. Wow it is nice. I admired it and wanted one but the cost was not interesting to me. I ordered some materials and here are the proceedures and finished product. We have about 3000 miles on it now and it pulls and performs fantastic.

Nice!
Are you going to start building them? I haven't seen a Myco aluminum trailer with the rails up top, only steel. |
Wow! That is really nice. Reminds me more of a Manning than a Myco but both are top notch trailers. so what did it cost to build??
By the way, in post #4, the 2nd pic, in the back ground theres a Cig. Is that the Cafe with the 500 EFI's that was bought out of Florida about 2 1/2 3 years ago? I think it was one of the last Cafe's built (a 95). |

Good Eyes, yes that is Mark Picketts Cafe. We added Whipples to it over the winter and it picked up 14-15 MPH. It also has new Interior from Fine Line in Miami. It is a real nice piece.
I have $6700.00 in the materials, axles, wheels, tires, Aluminum, Steel, and all accessories including the welding gas, wire, and alot of tips. The worst part is all of the wire brushing with a Stainless brush before each weld. I sold my old trailer to First Gun, so I ended up with $3200.00 in the new one. First Gun had the Millermatic and the Plasma torch. I had the rest. I added the tube rail on the top to tie the cover to and also added brakes to the third axle. |
