Both are very nice rides. I would go with the 39 TG for a couple reasons. I think the 39 will be easier to sell and with the base 700/NXT package will run 100+ with what ever you put it in for a load, or if you opt for a bravo boat w/600's it will still run in the low to mid 90's. The 39 is very stable at speed and handles incredible. I personally would not do a 39TG with #6's in it because I have heard that they do not handle as well with the extra weight in the stern.

You should go for a ride in one because that extra weight BS is not correct. Besides the weight between a 700 and 850 or 1075 is not that much.

I am not sure the exact #'s but there is a weight difference and a CG difference between the #6 39TG and the NXT 39TG. The 39TG with the NXT is a better balanced boat. The 850/1075 engines are heavier with (2) lyshom SC's compared to (1) on the 700. The # 6 drives are heavier than the NXT's. The 700 boats also have a full stagger as compared to the #6 style 39TG's which are staggered but not a full stagger.

I think the 39TG's with the big merc power and #6's are very nice rides. I am just expressing my opinion that I think a 39TG with the 700/NXT package is one of the best all around boats, 100+mph, Great handling, and Great Rough water capability.
