Default Max Speed for Cafe Racer

Hi Guys, purchased a 91 Cafe Racer late last year in St Tropez and shipped her back to the UK. Did not have time to try for a max speed trial. Any ideas what she should do " when I put her to the wall"??. Fitted with a pair of Mercruiser 425 HP and swinging 23" pitch Mirage props on TRS legs.

Carlo,

Which one did you buy? I was there in June and there were quite a few...one was packed away in a shop right in the main harbor there...looked like it had been there for years...

Hi Sean, bought her from ANG Boats, she had been stored in their workshop about a mile from the port for about 18 months.
I was surprised how many cigs are down there just sitting in workshops !!

Will keep in touch as I think I may have a wiring problem and you guys have all the info.

My '84 flat deck has the same bottom and about the same weight as your '91 Cafe. It has (had) new 425's on TRS w/23 Mirages. Boat ran 63.5 in salt water with a mild chop, 1/3rd tank of fuel, no gear on board.
