does anybody know if the scoops came with the original mistress in 85'?

i think the 85 mistress came with the scoops, but you can build a cushion the fits around the scoops and is a little higher so it doesnt interfere with sunbathing.one other think you can do is install a power lift on the hatch doors which is really handy.

I beleive they came as an option. I have the line sheets I can scan in. I will get them next time I am at home. As far as hydraulic hatch. Ours used two alpha one trim rams and a merc pump.

Default Mistress repainting opinions

Quick update - wife took her Mistress birthday surprise with a huh?...but she graciously and excitedly accepted plan b) her diamond earrings!

Wife's not crazy about the old school 80s colors and stripe and because paint has been touched up a few times, I have decided the path of least resistance is to repaint the entire boat white and fix a few minor dings to get a completely fresh boat out of the gate for the season...

The transom will be repainted dark (wither blue, grey or black) and I will keep the cockpit as is since it is almost brand new and in great shape and will redo hatch cushions and engine vents (probably white). Does this crowd have any thoughts on boot stripe (red or blue) or other simple design patterns? Glass Dave has started me with a few logos like Sunkin's, but thought I would throw it out to cig owners for opinions...

P.S. Formex/Cigarette watch is a monster and rides a little heavy and have banged it hard a few times and not even a little scratch...kinda like their boats!

I meant a paint scheme something like that.

I wish I had the sales tax on a half-mil boat.
