I actually am the new owner of Dreamers boat. Got it last year and have been slowly working on it. New stereo went in, 19' LCD, pulled the swim platform acid dip and fresh black powder coat, same with the side rails, intake vents, nose rail, and seat frames - new GPS and antenna, complete detail color sand and some gel coat touch up...2 brand new drives being installed next week painted black, gimbles and transom assemblies being painted black, tabs removed media blasted and powdercoated black, new fuel pumps, new ignition coils, new strainers and new Tstats and housings as well. Possibly Brodix aluminum heads as well... Boat should be ready for the Desert Storm poker run end of April.

The boat for sale looks nice....but if they didn't use the ultra leather then that sucks....also, the rear hatch was not done well at all and is not factory, nor does it have the 1 logo on the front that is an air inlet and they also got rid of all the other engine compartment ducting to pull fresh air in for the motors. I would be very concerned about proper engine room ventilation as well as overheating due to lack of proper airflow.

Really, because it looks just like the hatch that cigarette used in 2000 when they went to the new rear seat back before they redesigned the raised hatch in 2001. Are you sure you know what you are talking about?

Here is a 2000 top gun with the same factory hatch. So maybe since this boat is a 2000 and yours is a 2001 they might be a different design

Not sure about the one you pictured....every Playboy boat like mine that I have seen pictures of has the 1 logo and inlet and side vents.
Regardless, how does the engine compartment get ventilation ?? Just those 2 intakes on each side ?? Doesn't seem suffecient to me....but hey, you have a lot more posts than me so I guess I have no clue what I'm talking about.

Kevin has a nice '01 TG T/S.

The Playboy looks awesome! I would love to see the wood floors. :cool-smiley-027:

# of posts has nothing to do with it and I don't mean to jump on you, I just knew when the boat came up for sale it would get a bunch of crap even though Kevin has gone over it. Here are some original pics and as you can see it never had a raised hatch, that didn't happen on the TS 35's or 38's until 2001, the rest had a flat hatch just like the pre twin step boats. and yes the ventilation is by the side vents like the older boats. The raised hatch was designed to accommodate blower motors without adding scoops and the extra airflow they needed.

what you don't see in these pictures is bobby stotler hidden in the cabin, holding a walkie-talkie and his nuts, he and neil are as great as arnow was. (god bless) you can't buy a bad 35 ts pb .....................................period. my tiger was not a better boat! over.

All good man - I was being a bit sarcastic myself. But you raise an interesting point...My boat must be a later '01 build with the raised hatch, extra cooling vents etc. I'm glad to know that and thanks for bringin it to our attention.
No disrespect to Dreamer at all, but I knew this boat needed some TLC. The interior is perfect, literally looks brand new above deck and below. Dean Gellner balanced and bluprinted the motors and they are very strong, and after I put new drives on it the thing will be tits not to mention extremely unique for a 35' TS.
Can't wait to get back out on the water !!!!
