Default Cig 35 Project

I've been threatening to start this thread for a few weeks now. So, here goes...

Boat is an 84 flat deck. Story behind it- came out of Wisconsin. Supposedly the original owner ended himself up in prison and the boat sat in a barn for more than a few years. The original hour meter showed 184 hours. Boat was bought by a guy who painted it and got it running. He did a nice job on the hull but his attention to detail on the deck left something to be desired. Basically, he taped around all the hardware. Interior was original and pretty ratty.

The foundations are there. The boat is straight and solid and basically needs some updating. Here's the plan-

Strip and repaint deck- update all the hardware

New dash- all Livorsi

Paint engine compartment

New cockpit upholstery

Swap TRS for a nice new set of Konrads

540's with 8-71's

And all before June...

There's still some leftover "barn debris" in the old interior-

TRS drives. They're really nice and really for sale.
(I'll make someone a good deal)

A glimpse of the future, courtesy of glassdave, boat painter of the stars (or as he prefers, the George F'ing Barris of powerboats)

Closeup of the logo. A blend of new with a definite dose of old-school.

The thinking right now is to do it on a chrome background.

Another glassdave idea. Gotta draw the line on cost somewhere so this one ain't happening. Just can't swing the extra $500 right now
