I really like that boat. Looks clean as hell! The steering kills it for me.

I like the trs. The steering and old style bolsters kill it other than that its an awesome boat.

I am a cash buyer looking for the right Cig. I have looked at this boat several times, but have had the same thoughts as posted above (TRS Drives, may last may not.... $16to$20k to replace with Konrads, No hydraulic steering $3-$4k'I think' and new gauges/dash refresh maybe $1500.00 conservatively) All that been said I am definitely interested for the right price.

I have PM'd you, thanks

the boat is clean and I guess with new power are the only things going for it in this market.

I sent lot of emails to you last year when the engines were out of it. Now it is again priced above the market. The good thing is you didn;t have to pay for the re power, so I don't see why you don't kep it now since you should have gotten lot of your investment back from the insurance company and now be sitting at a reasonable overall investment standpoint on the boat.

And what I mean by above the market is not that anything is wrong with your boat. it's just that there are a lot of bigger powered, better machaincally optioned boats out there for the same or less money. THere are just not many on OSO because they are allways advertised very high here.

Good luck though. I hope you do get what you want some day.

It's a pretty cool boat and doesn't seem like it's way over-priced.
Maybe it's the colors, maybe it's the drives.....
Everything sells at the right price. If it hasn't sold and it's been a long time- it's probably priced too high.

I wouldn't put any money into it just to sell, as you won't get it back.
I would use it for trade with a good broker - probably would do better in south florida.

Otherwise, just drop the price incrementally until someone bites.

The markets hurting on all boats over 7 years old...I don't personally think the boat is over priced or over market....70k for a Top Gun on a trailer with newer motors that's turn key!? Come on! You can't get much better than that.

TRS...blah, blah, blah...The straight bottomed T/G's were made for trannies...The TRS is a monster and nearly bullet proof. Yea, just like any hard core drive (I.E. 3, 3a, 5, 6, etc) it may be a little more to rebuild than a bravo but heres the thing...You most likely wont have to rebuild it!!! They are strong!

1500-3k for new gauges, get your local interior guy to upgrade the bolster for a couple g's, repaint for the colors for 5-10, etc. etc. etc....Whatever! If you're worried about dumping a few k into a 13-15 year old boat then you're in the wrong sport!

I have a better idea....Buy the f*ckin' thing and rock that b!tch for the next few years with out issue the way it is!

If you call "fair" priced 55-60k I'd say "blow me" and keep the f*cker....Good luck buying something this clean for 70k.

Ok, I'll step off my soap box.

Looks super clean...but the pruple marble stuff needs to go.
The dash and throttles are weak but a great project for the new owner.
TRS with that power is no big deal.
Good Luck.

My guess why your boat has not sold is your location. The typical Top Gun buyer is on the east coast. If someone is interested, they've got to fly out and then there's the transportaion issue if purchased. It can ad close to 5k to the price. If you really want it gone, I'd suggest talking with Phil @ Lip Ship. From the pics, it looks clean enough to be worthy of his showroom and I could not imagine it lasting more than a month if it was located in South Florida.

I don't think financing is a problem at all. Key Bank will lend the $$ as long as the credit score can support the purchase.

Good luck, looks like a nice buy for someone!
