I have a small gouge on the bottom as the V meets the side. Any ways it's not very big, about 4 inches long 2inches wide, maybe 1/8 inch deep. What would be the best way to repair this myself. Thanks

Pro gel coat repair techs mix pigments into base gel to match the boat exactly.
You'd probably be best off to have a pro do it. They don't charge that much. A local marina of size will have a regular or two they can refer.

Guy does first class work and is right in your neighborhood.
Please don't jam him up because I am bringing my 85' Mistress to him in 2 weeks!

I was going to have fast forward paint the boat next year, I was only looking for a possible quick fix . I'd be better off doing it right the first time. Thank you for all your help, everyone. It seems alot of people know there stuff, thanks.
