Way overpriced or what?

It's a gorgeous boat- but I think it's priced way too high. My memory tells me the original owner bought it for around $195K 5 yrs ago

Beautiful boat, and low hours no doubt. But hard to justify being worth $40-50K more than similar Glads.

dreamer 04-11-2008 06:58 PM

up shopped it....

way over priced... 145 tops

J-Bonz 04-11-2008 07:45 PM

Way over priced until its your own your selling .................

It seems about $30K high, but you cannot go by the other Gladiators on the market. There are alot of tired, mediocre used up stuff for sale. If the boat is a nice freshwater piece in pristine condition, it should definetely be worth alot more than your standard typical Gladiator.

SKRAMER 04-12-2008 07:55 AM

Never hurts to ask!!! You just might get it!!!

Clay Washington 04-12-2008 08:06 AM

They are waiting for a counter offer. Go get it! :D

maxonmike 04-12-2008 09:07 AM

If the boat was seriously for sale it would be priced too sell. If you want to sell a boat in this market it's Condition, price, Price, Price..... O.... And also did I mention Price.....:evilb:

Interesting, how do you know the original owner?
BTW, you do know that this is NOT the Gladiator that was originally sold at Dick Simon Marine...

At first I thought it was the DSM Gladiator but looking at it again I know which boat it is. It is the boat that was at Lake Cumberland Marine for awhile. It was owned by "dbhammer" on here at one point. I believe he traded it to FASTBOATS and that's when the current owner bought it. Good eye Tony; Is the Dick Simon Gladiator still at LOTO?

As of last summer it was... I know the owner has been looking, but I don't think a move has been made yet.

I DIDN'T know that-- I thought that was the one sold out of DSM. - either way, it's still priced too high to move:D I actually want a cabin, so the Gladiator is out. I'd love a 39' Topgun but the wallet hasn't caught up to my taste yet!!!

The boat that was sold at DSM- I didn't know the original owner, the salesman at DSM is a friend of mine.

If you want a nice boat, you have to pay up. Very rarely do you find a beautiful boat at bargain basement prices.

That was one of the most intelligent remarks I have heard all year in this poor market.
