Default Top Gun cockpit interior

Hello good people. This is my first thread on OSO. I have a 98 Gun that I want to add two pair of 6x9 speakers to. Does anyone know how the side panels come off. I tried pulling a little and don't want to wreck anything. I reached thru an existing speaker hole and it feels like wood screws poking through.
