Where did the Strength & Honor Cig End Up
#22
I would have guessed to keep the weight on the tail like a drag boat but it was so far back there I could not imagine room for staggered engines and trannies. If it were mine, I would not have moved the cockpit so far forward.

That's the one I was thinking of. Somewhere in my cloudy state, I misunderstood Tim in St. Pete.

Otis I'm not running 50% Cigarette and 50% cocktails anymore, so the Cigarette side gets rusty.

The boat was purpose built (Kilo Record). There for it had some special features. I assume they're tweaking one of these features such as the carbon fiber fuel cell. It was problematic with the fuel filters!
But I don't know exactly what they're doing to it.
Like I said, it is just amazing in person! and when you sit down into that cockpit it's awe inspiring. Just the knowledge alone that you're sitting in the fastes Cigarette ever built! SICK!
Here's one more vid showing Tom and Neil coming into the channel...

modified 6's. I think the cockpit was put back there for aerodynamics. Not sure though.
Although I answered my own question on engine location
