I hope some fellow Top Gun's can give me some feedback. I need to replace the cockpit cover on my '97 gun. My local canvas shop wants $1650 for the basic cover in white sunbrella and another $500 to add some accent colors on the edges to match my paint(and my old cover). That seems pretty high to me....but maybe I need a lesson in cover costs??How does this price compare to other good canvas shops?
Thanks-

Wow, I might have to move to MD to do boat covers, if they're getting that much. Sounds pretty high, but you need to check other shops in your area. Cigs are a little higher since the installation of the turn buckles is more of a chore than snaps, but not that much. Good luck.

Just had one done for my 93, both cockpit and bow cover.....3900 for both....first rate quality......
vents, double poles, snaps up under the rub rail...nothing in the glass. Blue, warning...warning...don't go with any shade close to white.....dirty too easy....

I just had a new cover made for my T/G out of Sunbrella material for $450.00 and $12.00 for a new adjustable poll. Turned out beautiful. He reinforced it with double thickness car cover material where it is going to rub on any painted surface. My old cover was torn at the rear from my last road trip and he charged me $70. to cut it off and install snaps just behind the rear blosters to just cover the cockpit and not the engine hatch.
