Hi Guys,

I have a lead on a 28 footCigarette of 1983 vintage. The owner got it as project, and it's in essence a bare hull on a trailer. The current owner does not know anything about boats, and want to get rid of it.

I have 2 extra engines, and an extra drive, and I figured it may be an interesting race boat, or test mule for some of my engine ideas etc.. If it turns out the boat had any race history, then I would also be interested in restoring it to original glory. If not, then it might be good as a second boat anyway.

I have the hull#, and here's a picture. Can anyone tell me how I can get more info on this boat...?

I don't think you have a 28 Cig.

That is not a 28' Cigarette SS.

What is the hull ID#?

CFZ6207TA083 is the number I got from the seller, but I think he got the California Registration # mixed up, as I was told that the HID should start with CRT. In addition, I know that in CA the Registration number has a "CF" prefix..
