I would put myself in the same category, I want to buy another boat but want to buy it right.

I only put them in the same scenario as Jim of buying and selling boats, now..in a different scenario, The Jim's are all on their own

Default wrong Forum guys!

All you guys looking to spend 50k for a 100k boat...This is a Cigarette Forum..check out or "Google" Used Bayliner.com for a deal on a boat you can take the family out on. Don't think OSO has a Bayliner Forum. Not everyone has alot of money to spend, so buy what you can afford rather than running up your long distance charges on your phone bill and wasting peoples time looking for something that isn't reality. I would hate to see someone spend their hard earned money on a boat, then not be able to put gas in it!

well said..

If they want to pay high so be it, that is why the prices are so inflated anyway..

I got a glimpse of this when I started looking at cruisers, they cost way more to build, have stoves, frig, air, ect. all for the same money or less...

The ones that buy new are going to loose a big chunk of change, do they care ? guess not.. I cant take or afford to take a huge hit on a boat. so I must be very careful with what I buy.. & I dont see it yet..
