The 39 with 700's might be the best "all around" boat Cigarette has ever built.

While there is an obvious difference between a 600 hp and 700hp motor, the difference in drives really boils down to the size of the wheels they can spin. The snotier it gets the more noticeable the difference when running real propellers. So far so good on the drive durablity.

i havent been on a 700 gun yet...but have spent plenty of time on a 39 w 525's and bravos and its a helluva boat...200 plus hours and no drive issues and have run the boat to 86 mph...have also had the pleasure of some seat time on a 39 with 850's...talk about an incredible monster. boat excellerates faster and harder then anything i've ever been on. not to mention 114mph. but the $$$ to rebuild takes alot of fun out if it. im not sold on the 700 pkg yet. a good friend of mine had a 39 OL with the 700 pkg and has been thru 8...YES 8 transmissions. he's been running boat his whole life so i cant/wont blame it on driver error.

You gotta love the 39/700 combo! The boat combines beautiful lines (classic cigarette), with incredible handling, speed and reliability! It is an absolute blast to drive as well! It's like a Lexus 8 speed! Smooth and Fast! Yeah, there are faster 700 boats out there but 100+ ciggie with 700's that will run all day is bada$$!
