So true, I'm a cig guy but I think both the ZRC and PR Fountain are much better looking boats than the gladiator.

I have only heard good things about the Donzi as far as ride. But, let's face it, buying a performance boat has alot to do with looks, and that is where the Donzi just falls short. It justs looks old and dated . I have had several Donzis in the past and always will appreciate them, but, this particular model just doesn't do it for me. And, I would put Phils new 700 Glad up against the new 700 Zr any time of the week. Anyhow, I have always said, buy what YOU like. Either way, you can't go wrong.

I wouldn't go so far to say old and dated, just different. To me the Gladiator looks older and more dated but to each his own.

As for Phil's new 700, I would like to run him with my old (2003) Comp. It might be faster in a flat out drag race, but let's do a nice run say Miami to Islamirada in Feb:rolleyes: and see who wins!:drink:

Did you seriously just throw down a challenge to a professional offshore racers who has world and national titles under his belt to race somewhere in a boat he has built and loves?

That's pretty ballsy!!

I don't think this is true with these models. I see a lot of gladiators priced at or below the ZRC's. Course a couple of the ZRC's I've been interested in over the last 2 years are still for sale.

Maybe it's numbers but you can buy a gladiator cheaper than a ZRC at least based on asking prices.

BLASPHEMY! PM203's Gladiator was painted by Harold, tweaked by Phil, Skip drove it once and is worth 3 X a new ZRC with 700's since they don't make Gladiators anymore (rare/collectible) and the Donzis are production boats.

Plus with the Cigs you get the "free spin" possibility everytime you drive it! :angry-smiley-038:
