Default T.G. deck hatch seals ???

I have a '97 Gun. Ever since day 1 I have had problems with the deck hatch seals. They are glued on foam rubber and it seems no matter what type of glue I use they always come off or slide around. I thought about a u shaped rubber seal that would slide over the hatch rails but the clearance between the top of the rails and the bottom side of the hatch varies depending on what part of the hatch you measure.

I'm hoping there is a creative solution out there that someone has experience with???

Mine do the same thing...they suck. Any creative fixes? I guess you could have a thin channel made and screwed into the lid?

I replaced mine & Rogman's, no issues here. I got them from Cig. "Maybe they now use something better???

I'm always messing with the seals.

It would be nice if we could buy a quality moulded rubber seal like what's offered to the antique car restoration guys.
