Call Steve Nykamp and make a ridiculous offer for Allez Vite and tell him you're the buyer, your right...then you can watch a gentle giant tell you to go F yourself..
Uhhhh, if the buyer makes the offer and the seller accepts it then the buyer set the sale price. Seller sets the ask but your argument assumes that it sells for the asking price which is very rare on anything from cars, boats, real estate, whatever. Boat sellers will never publicly complain since the first response will be "lower the asking price."

As far as Allez boat, I have absolutely no interest in project boats that need power. Whatever he asks/gets for that boat is great but I could care less. My guess is that the hull will sit for a long time unsold (like many do)since the Apaches take huge wallets to get back up and running and only a select few appreciate them as bare bones race boats that can handle all types of water. I like the Hot Duck approach instead of keeping the 45, he moved to a killer 39 TG that was a more usable boat.

Have a good night Rob, relax and avoid the stroke...........

Thats to funny
I agree that the people trying to bash sellers on their price are a pain in the arse. When trying to sell my last boat I got at least 10 pm's that my boat would sell at xxxxxx price, was I interested? Unfortunatly, it led to me feeling ok taking a 65K hit in one year. So I guess all this hype does play a roll.

My vote is to see Steve finish his apache and crushin 6 footers...

I'm plenty relaxed, you just wont admit your wrong...You think
you know the numbers and why people sell what they do...ok you keep believing what you do, and we will watch people buy boats... I know what people on here have gotten for trades, and they are much more than the prices you are spouting.

As for Allez Vite, that is a classic example of being for sale, not must sell.

YES 30,000!!!!!

total change in business model
30,000 does sound very high. But, don't forget, Keybank shut down it's Marine/RV lending group indicating to me that if the 30,000 number is accurate, a certain percentage of that number would be RV's. Still a staggering number by all accounts and not good news.

When I move into a Cig I am paying cash! Saving now and not going to let the bank own my boat.
