I don't know why so many people are shocked that under-qualified operators purchase these things and then crash them. It's been happening for years with exotic cars. I remember when Porsche introduced the 930 turbo to the US market. Many, many of them were destroyed- and almost everyone crashed backwards. Guys with no concept of vehicle dynamics figured they could blaze around just like they used to in their big-block Corvettes.
In the 911 Turbos/ 930's they called it trailing throttle oversteer! They were known as Dr. Killers back in the day. Too much weight hanging over the rear axle combined with wicked turbo lag/spool and they would easily switch ends!

How safe are these 38' Twin Step Top Guns?

Seems there are a lot of spin outs and rolls. Is there an inherit problem where the rear slides out if the boat is not trimmed correctly for the turns?

almost same accidend happened one month before in Belgium

39 Top Gun with twin 700 SCI - brand new boat

In a left turn with 50 MPH boat has thrown out all passengers
