I think Rob was talking about his Cigarette 42 Tiger, not a 38 Top Gun, with no paint!!!, The 38 was 350-450 in o3 depending on paint, motors and options.

You claim to know so much about cigarettes however how many do you own? oh yea none, I own 2, and have steered many of my friends to a great buy at great prices, oh yea, you don't own one, you just sit and squawk about how they arent worth the price, tell ya what there jocko, stick with your sunsation and you fishing boat, because you aren't smart enough to own a cigarette...christ what a douche bag. did i mention you don own one? phucking homo...

The guy asked what it would sell for from the dealer, not list price anyway. List price is a joke on new boats and not too many I have heard of go for full list price........

once again you have to try to show everyone how stupid you are, we have said time and time again that list/asking is 100% differnt than selling price, but you continue to spew shiit out of your cakehole that has nothing to do with anything other than making you feel like you are in the know. I honestly have to believe that you are more stupid than open72, and that is boulder stupid.

this is to jupiter sunsation, ok moron, he asked what it would cost new, that means list, depending on his cash down and his buying ability would make the whole price...yep, that settles it, your a moron.

I like Rob, he has had some great posts on here but when it comes to used boat pricing it is like arguing with your dad that his old station wagon is priceless to him but just not the collector car world or his year 2000 tech laden 401k statement isn't currently at the same value 8 years later......
Rob also likes to make statements that I disprove with supporting facts then he moves on to another incorrect statement.

Rob can you show me where a 03 TG 575 no paint boat listed anywhere for 600K new? If you can, I will never comment on used Cigarette pricing ever again. :ernaehrung004:

you shouldnt be commenting in the first place ass hole, marital tension is correct, I think you are a jackass. you come on here thinking you know the ins and outs of pricing and your flailing lips do nothing other than make noise. if we have said it once, we have said it a million times, asking and selling are two differnt things. a 39 now lists for over 700k closer to 800, BUT depending on your cash and buying power and what you add to it, that will differ drastically...but nooooo you continue to talk out your ass...jerkoff

"A 39 lists for 700K closer to 800 now"......Yet I show you list on a Lipship 42X with 850's for 689K two years earlier and a 09 38 525 starts at 399K but add a foot and up the power to 700's and the price doubles?.........

Once again Rob lets see the facts on that one. Nah you won't have any, but you will insult other members to make yourself feel better. Keep beating on your chest ape boy you will think your right at the end of the day! :evilb:

offshoredrillin 10-21-2008 09:05 AM

Well then according to your theory, a 1075 boat should cost the same as a 525 boat...you are a freaking moron, plain and simple... I dont need to post made up facts, the facts are I was looking to buy, not sit around and squawk about what I think I know...oh, and the fact that I did buy, unlike you that trys to say they are too expensive to justify your broke ass not being able to afford on...so, in turn piss off douchebag:ernaehrung004:

lol, the funny part is randy, he thinks cig owners really care about his opinion, if we did none of us would own our boats:rolleyes:...my problem is he comes on here spouting things about pricing which are untrue. In business I see people like him all the time, have a nice car that they are over streched on, then try to say services are too expensive...I just tell them to go buy a toyota, that they can afford, a Porsche costs money to own.:evilb:

Randy, what do you think of your boat with the boxes. I see a lot of the non ITS boats with boxes now. I hear not really any speed to be gained but handling improves.

And to the rest of you guys, how about keeping the thread on track about selling this boat. Discussions about list prices and markets, yadda, yadda don't belong here, start a new thread or post on the dozen or so already going about boat values.

Stormrider 10-21-2008 10:29 AM

I dig the fact there are no bow rails...
And is there a bow cleat, or just the insert for the pin?

That's about right.

Mine was an 02, w/ZUL 625's, ITS, fully loaded on options and I "believe" MSRPed at $350ish new if I can remember. I got it with 30 hours on her after the 1st owner traded for a Gladiator.

This was also right before National Marine came on the scene ordering TONS of new boats, and making it LOOK like they were selling all of them. This single handedly caused a few manufacturer's to raise prices, thinking it would never end. Some of you remember the prices of the 05/06 boats from many companies were pretty stout. That affect has just now subsided.

Randy's boat is a great deal. I knew the boat before he owned it, and it easily passes my checklist. There aren't hardly ANY used boats that are ready to run, AND have a blank canvas for you to personalize it with. Most are projects that need MUCH more than a sharp paintjob.

just the insert of the pin, i thought it would suck, but its not bad, it keeps people from tieing up to your boat if you are not around. they pull up and dont see any cleats and leave :drink:

What are you running for props and standard length lowers?

Velocity Vector 10-21-2008 11:06 AM

The way to buy one is call them, tell them what you want, give them a blank check and let them fill it in.

I wanted that Playboy badly but I didnt want to be a two boat owner.

This seems like a good deal too($159,000). When your getting a boat only 5-6 yrs old very well cared for and over 50% less than when they were new....yea these are good deals in my book.

Don't forget that when you put the cost of a new trailer into the mix that it is not as competitively priced as some of the others on the market.

The upgrades add some value though.

hurleyr 10-24-2008 10:04 PM

Randy,
Thats an awsome boat at a fair price.

I always seem to be a season behind you when your selling. I still wish I could have had your old boat.

I think yours will be the next one to go!!

Quinlan 11-03-2008 03:13 PM

Saw the boat in person this weekend. Pics do not do the boat justice. Very Clean!!

Wild 11-11-2008 12:19 PM

come and get it

hurleyr 11-11-2008 06:40 PM

Trade??

Wild 11-12-2008 07:31 AM

sure, call the broker, he will take a trade

asg 11-13-2008 09:25 PM

I paid $338,000 for that boat when it was new, back in 9-2002.

I took a bath on it when I sold it. :( it was hard to sell, nobody wanted a white boat at the time, plus all the dealers were trying to make a killing on trying to sell it for me.

I always liked the the all white look.

That was the first thing that I loved about it was that it is all white. I just can't convince the bank that it is worth it to buy.
