Default Parting out the Cafe Racer

I've been kicking this idea around for a while and would only do it if I had someone that wanted the engines and/or drives and someone that wanted the boat without engines and/or drives...at the same time...i'd rather not have to sit on one or the other.

ideas on price for hull needing just engines?
ideas on price for hull needing engines/drives/transoms?
ideas on price for a pair of 2006 496HOs with 10 hours?

the boat is an 87 with original gelcoat and interior. has new dash, carpets, Marine Machine steering...its a very nice piece...

any interest?

Noooo Sean! You didn't have much luck when you had it apart before? That was when the market looked much better as well? Someone that's smart will buy it complete. It's too nice to part out in my opinion man, but I know that's just an opinion. Good luck with it, because it's sure nice.

i have to agree with blee, problem is 80k is just alot for an 87, bottom line..... part it out and you might get around 60k, and a ton of headache,

drop your price to 60k, sell boat whole minus the headache

I've had it listed for 69k for about 6 months...dropped the price a while ago... If I had an offer in the 60's, the boat would find a new home...but I haven't even had a call...

Default How Much Cafe?

Sean,

The Hulls are worth 30K plus the drives (add 5K for Bravo) and your power Stock - really don't get much coin (say 15-17K)

- What kind of power do you have - thats how you price it. Simple. You give the trailers away unless they are super clean Myco's.

You boat is nice, but I would price it at $55 - in this ecomony. You would get $60 maybe on a trade if you spent twice that amount

Keep it - its your baby -be a good Dad

Sean, don't part it out. Bring it up here to Maine in the spring. I'm sure I can find a buyer for it.
