The Midwest Donzi Club would like to invite any or all of you 20' Cigarette owners to our 9th annual "Awakening of the Horses" hosted at Jamestown resort and Marina on beautiful Lake Cumberland.

The event takes place May 15-18th(friday-sunday)but most people make it a thursday thru sunday stay. This year there is an OSS race scheduled the same weekend.

What are the places to stay or charter a house boat???

the event is held at Jamestown resort marina they have hotel and fishing cabins, as well as houseboats if you wish. there are plenty of hotels in the city of Jamestown if the resort is booked. across the idle zone is State Dock, they also have a hotel, camping and houseboats and that is the OSS headquarters for the race, i'd say if they aren't already sold out they will be soon. if you need some names or numbers of hotels locally let me know. they are also some house's that overlook Jamestown Marina that can be rented out for the week or weekends. try to stay at the resort first since thats where all the action will be, if they are booked just post here or on Donzi.net and myself or any of the guy's can help get you some names and numbers of other places. when you call JRM tell them you are with the Donzi club and they will extend the discount to you
