But I have to be honest .. I never had either of them, s owhat the hell do I really know !
whats the easy 630hp upgrade your referencing? just curious, I no experience with 575's

Ask Wild... something to do with a smaller pulley on the supercharger and re-programming the ECU.. nothing internal ..from what I understand, But Randy will know for sure .

arizona speed and marine offers a package that remaps your computer, gives you a smaller pully and an MSD ignition box

This is more for my cousin because he's looking at stepping up from his Cafe into a TG or Tiger.

Can we get some pros and cons on the 575's and 525's. I here the shelf life of the 525 is much longer then the 575 in regards to rebuild time. It also seems like their are some deals to be had on some 575 boats and is that because they are a less desirable package to have?
If your cousin is serious.. his search should stop at Randy Wild's boat.. I don't know if he is negotiable on the price, but the boat is nice (one of a kind).. Runs like hell and is in good condition.. and is all white just waiting for some paint, which will be alot cheaper than to sand off a paint scheme you don't want ...( I know that for a fast)

I had a 575's boat and ran it to 145 hours with no problems and than I sold it. I personally would prefer 525's because they are currently produced where the 575's arent. I would assume not being supercharged and with the closed cooling that they also would have a longer shelf life. But in saying that if I could save 10 or 15 grand in buying the same boat I would take the 575's.

I have had both... I love the sound of a blower but 525's are more desirable. Much easier to sell. Much more reliable. And if you run Dustins 93 oct tune they put out 590hp. Parts? They do not make 575's any more. The blowers have to be rebuilt and are exspensive. I used to keep an extra blower for that. Besides all the 01-03 cigs that have 575's have those giant scoops that make the sun deck useless and date the boat!!!

525 for sure. Closed cooling with aluminum heads. Throw some good AFR heads on there and your at ~620hp no prob, totally reliable and on 89 octane.
