Merc four blade 34's for best top MPH and Hering six blade 30's (15.25) for best overall prop.

Merc 34's ( labbed I believe) are good for 92-93 MPH ish. The Hering 6 blades will get the boat to 90-91 MPH. Phil once tested a boat with Hering 5 blades that saw 95 MPH on one particular boat. The Herings cruise just a little bit faster at the same rpm, but the boat handles noticeably better and jumps right onto plane like a ski boat. The 6 blades are incredibly silky smooth! I had 15.5 diameter 6 blade Herings, but went down to 15.25 6 blade Herings. Dropping down the diameter gave me even more bite when getting on plane and slightly better acceleration, while keeping the bow a little higher. The boat runs, drives and handles awesome with these props. I feel that these are the best overall prop for this boat.

I was told alot, but in fact, it was a very minor increase with the 6 blades. The 6 blades excel in getting on plane, acceleration, handling amd smoothness. There is no comparison.

Herings are the way to go. I even tried the 5 blade maximus. Awesome cruise speed, but the way the boat handled was scary to say the least.
