Default 78 cig 28ss

Ive been in the market for a 28ft "big water" boat and have been looking at Pantera and saber. uncle sent me a link for this cig. http://www.offshoreonly.com/classifi...o26987-en.html

Ive spoke with the consignor a few times.... Has been redone a few years ago. has GM crate 383 fast burn engines. with many automotive msd and such which i hear is junk on boat.

here is a little list of stuff....
* Twin 383 Stroker Engines 425 HP 450#'S Torque
* TRS Drives
* Sea Strainers
* New Carburetors
* Billet Trim Tabs
* Gaffrig Controls
* Imco Exhaust Manifolds
* Aluminum Heads with fresh water cooling
* Power Trim
* Leg oils and zincs just done
* Power Steering
* New House Batteries & Starting Batteries
* CD Stereo with Sirius Satellite Radio
* Billet Seat Mounts
* Billet Speaker Grilles
* Billet Fire Extinguisher Mounts
* Hardin Gauges
* GPS Speedo
* Oil just changed with Synthetic
* Steel Bunk Trailer with new hubs, brakes, bearings, etc.

Now what is all this worth???? i see the one on ebay and people say asking 22k takes it..... what would this one be worth and does not have a finished cabin. has all the gel coat to finish but current owner striped everything out since being from the 1970's and never planed on using it. but i would need to finish it and be sleeping on it on weekend trips and such. Oh the owner told me he would recommend a upgrade to external steering since the stock TRS stuff is lacking a bit.

Lets hear your comments. Thanks Kyle.

I wouls say less than the 35K that he is asking for it.

Also notice on inside of engine hatch the holes cut to accomadate the air cleaner. Seems like you might go through the sunpad if you stepped on in.

I sold my 74' 28 ss with twin 383's for $17,000 about 1 year and 9 months ago. It had stern powr drives - Dollar value vs. TRS ???? Mine was a black boat - $ deduct for sure. But I also sold before this enonomy - $ plus for sure.

My guess on value - $15K to $20K max. The 28's are a GREAT BOATS!!!! Pay what your comfortable with - you will have fun with it.
