Don't know much about the boat...But if you read the article...115 hours with engines already rebuilt...That could mean asking price plus another 20-25k in about another month or two...

It used to be called "Jonny Lightning", and stayed just outside the inlet from LipShip. It's one of the first few Gladiators, and was always serviced & maintained at LipShip, until recently. The colors match the former Rio Roses raceboat, and the center console that tended it.

I'd call LipShip to get all the info you want on it.

Didnt that boat used to reside at the left side of the canal that leads to philly's? Dont hesitate to buy a Gladiator! They are a great boat!

Blee, the boat your thinking of is still on the lift by Phil's. It sits on the left side going out, two houses from the bay. I went by it yesterday...is this a different one (Sarasota?).

The dealer also has another one he is trying to trade for. I talked to Bill at the Miami Boat Show and he was trying to get a friend of mine to go look at it while we were down there. Give him a call and I am sure he will provide you with all the info you need. PM me if you want his cell #.

Yeah, the Sarasota listing threw me a little as well, but I'd be shocked if it's different boat. Harold paint, side by side 540's?

Check it out:
