Yeah, the gunnels were cut. We sat in the boat, and Danny said we could make the back seat feel bigger by doing a couple things:

1. Cig built the seat out about 4" from the bilge divider- we could utilize that space to recline the bench and add leg support.
2. Cig made the bench kinda "rounded" in the corners...which could be made more "square" (like Skater bolsters).
3. Make the bench armrests smaller making the bench a little wider (so four people won't be so crowded).
4. Move the cupholders and grab handles into the gunnels- the cutouts would make the narrow beam boat feel bigger.

When the entire cockpit was out, he sketched the new seating arrangement and where the cutouts would be. They cut them out, then made the sidepanels to fit in the new holes.

Here's a better pic of the rear bench:

The bolsters still dropout (stock Cig pedestals):

Here's a pic of the old interior (old gauges, old interior, old floor, and old blower hatch):

Thanks for all the kind words!

That's the sh!t Jeff...I love how well it was thought out.

That is stellar! Not only great with the needle and thread, but making use of all the available space is an outstanding display of ingenuity and craftsmanship!!!

Looks good, and the white is classic. With that interior it looks brand new, as white never goes out of style.

The additional storage/cupholders really look good too.
