New interior for my Cafe'...
East Coast boat, but a "West Coast flavor" on the interior...lots of carbon fiber.

That looks great! i am in process of doing my berth but wont be anywhere as near custom as yours.
How did they do the vinyl around the wood trim piece by the door? I like how that looks. |

The top teak piece and the lower one (where you step into the cabin) are gel coated white, but the side pieces and the top piece in the entry way (where I always hit my head getting into the cabin...lol) are wrapped in vinyl with a little padding like any upholstry piece. Since all the seats are custom, I also had them raise the rear seat base 2" (so you can see better when underway), and they reclined the rear bench a little for comfort. The front bolsters were lowered a little when seated, and reclined a little for comfort when underway. |
Holy sh!t, that came out nice!
You actually cut into the gunnals to allow for the speakers, storage and grab handle? Great way to utilize space! Who did the work? |
Looks awesome!
Are the fronts not drop-outs? I really love the oldschool boats with modern updates like this. Any pics of the whole boat? |

Last time I saw it, it was all white. Think it still is.
I thought that was the case from what I'd read on hotboat or somewhere, but have never actually seen pics. All white with the new interior will look real nice. |
Very nicely done!

I had it done at West Coast Marine Interiors- they do alot of work for Ultra, etc. Yeah, the gunnels were cut. We sat in the boat, and Danny said we could make the back seat feel bigger by doing a couple things: 1. Cig built the seat out about 4" from the bilge divider- we could utilize that space to recline the bench and add leg support. 2. Cig made the bench kinda "rounded" in the corners...which could be made more "square" (like Skater bolsters). 3. Make the bench armrests smaller making the bench a little wider (so four people won't be so crowded). 4. Move the cupholders and grab handles into the gunnels- the cutouts would make the narrow beam boat feel bigger. When the entire cockpit was out, he sketched the new seating arrangement and where the cutouts would be. They cut them out, then made the sidepanels to fit in the new holes. Here's a better pic of the rear bench: http://www.performanceboats.com/html.../DSCN07231.jpg The bolsters still dropout (stock Cig pedestals): http://www.performanceboats.com/html.../DSCN07091.jpg Here's a pic of the old interior (old gauges, old interior, old floor, and old blower hatch): http://www.performanceboats.com/html...oker_Run_1.jpg Thanks for all the kind words! |
