I thought I would do a post about my new hatch for my Cigarette Top Gun.

I have an 89 Top gun which a few of you will remember I imported from Jacksonville 2 years ago.

I've had to spend a lot of $$$ on it and probably made a mistake buying an older cig as I've had to get the engines completely rebuilt and a lot of other work. Anyway, my cig now runs beautifully and just about hits 80mph.

After a year of hassling Darren he finally agreed to build me a hatch and I thought i would post some pics for everyone to see!

You have to reduce the file size. An easy way to do this is to email them to yourself. Go to explorer and highlight all the pics, do a right click on the files and send to email (your own email address), explorer will ask if you want to resize before emailing, do so and when the email comes in just resave the files to your desktop. They should be the right size to upload after doing this.

Or just email them to me [email protected] and I will post them for you.

Do you have to be a paying member to upload pics??

I think they can be uploaded by a registered member, they just can't see them afterwards.

Nope, now that my membership expired I can post pics. I can still see them though....

Nice! That's my next project after I get my Baja put back together, bulding a race hatch for my cuz.

I cut the vents today.
Ground out the balsa core so the edges of the vents can be saeled.
