top speed of a 1994 top gun with stock 502 any ideas thanks

My '97 with stock 502mpi's and 24" props would do 65-66 mph at 4900-5000. I now run modified 509 mpi's with labbed 26" props at 73-74 mph and 5400 RPM's.

A Top Gun running 60-65 isn't the fastest boat out there but you'll still be at the front of the pack in 5+ foot seas!!

64 is right, I have stock 502 (415hp)............I need to upgrade to 525's

Anyone wanna buy my 502's????

I had a 96 with 502's in it for about a year - drove me nuts and yes 64-65 was top speed.

Fixed it by adding procharged 500 efi's and the current owner has 800 hours on the chargers and engines !!! ran about 75-78 + then.
