Default Old School 20 Ciggie

-Love this old 20! I'm curious about the lower gear case. Doesn't look like anything from Merc, what is it? It appreas to be a TRS upper but definately not a Speedmaster II.

Can it be a Stern Powr. I had a set on my Sonic and from the picture it looks similar. I had the Mx-7 Series. Supposedly at the time they made an adapter for the TRS. Don't know if this in one.

Thanks for the replies. I'm familiar with Stern Powr but never seen their lower gear case adapted to a TRS.

Was this unit a custom made one-off or a gear case that was offered for the TRS by Stern Powr?

Thanks!

You are right Mike. 'Old School' is the nicest old 20 out there and priced right. Maybe it will sell if priced higher....don't know what the shoppers out there are thinking!
