Any Arnerson powered Cigs out there?

Even w/ the prop way back from where a bravo would be?
How much further back are the props than on a bravo?
Unfortunately, the last time i saw some ASD's was on a 53magnum... yrs back, and i remember them being quite long.
And how about from a fresh start cost wise, bravo vs asd6.

Our #7M is 4" longer than a Bravo on a standoff box. Not that much difference.
Cost wise, one has to compare the whole package as the Arneson comes with a standoff box, external steering and such so adding all that into the cost of a Bravo we are priced better. List is $23K for the #7M with everything. Add up what the Bravo XR with the HD Gimbal, the standoff box, the upgraded shafts, drive showers, billet caps, external steering and on and on cost for a Bravo and the cost will surpass the Arneson Kit and not be as strong nor fast. Oh did I mention warranty on the Bravo setup?

I remember speaking to an Arnerson rep at the Miami show a few years back. He mentioned that you need to have the transom square with the hull, in other words they will not work with notch transoms, typical on Fountains. Is that true? Figured the 38 gun and / or a Tiger with a bravo retrofit would be a hell of a setup. I would do it for the tail alone.

On a normal side by side the notch does not represent an issue at all.
I cannot think of a boat today that does not have a notch of some size. The Arnesons are installed and work well on these boats and the only setup with a little concern is the stagger.

No, actually the engines will sit about 1-2" lower than a Bravo Setup. A #6 has a larger X than a Bravo so the engine would be even lower which helps the CG and helps the boats tendency to pitch roll.
