Though a seemingly dead thread....does anyone know, is this boat just sitting and continuing to be let to just rot away??

If it were the right price, I would be interested in a cigarette hull, in original fiberglass and gelcoat with period parts, that needed restoration. (I would be interested to find out the story with the two Hull Numbers on this 28SS? What number is it currently titled under?)

If someone buys it and restores her or parts her out, I would be interested in the radar wing.

Isn't the vin number missing a digit? CRT28086374
Maybe thats why there is an additional number scratched below the factory number.

Mine is CRT 282850879, which I thought ment:
CRT Cigarette Racing Team
28 Length
285 Hull number
0879 Month and year built August 1979

Last we spoke it was still same ... except now, just another year older. Call me and I can connect you with current owner 732.300.5222 Chris.
