Are you running the standard konrad lowers or the shorties? He is spinning stock 30p bravos.

Did any of the Flatdeck 38's have notched transoms?

Mild Thunder; I am running the standard Konrads. I raised my X with the TRS drives a few years ago when I had to replace my transom board. I was 3.25 inches above the stock height initially with the 1.5 inch shorter than TRS Konrads.RMPRam is the only 38 flatdeck I know of with a notched transom. Rick

Thats fast. When I had 600hp motors and TRS drives mine went 69 or 70 tops spinning 24 or 26 bravo 1 props. Raising the X makes a big difference.

Kris; when my drives were deep I ran 27 pitch mirage 3 blades with Bobs nose cones with best speed of 76mph. 4blades were just to much prop for my small motors. When I raised my drives the 3 blades were blowing out getting on plane, switched to stock 30p 4 blade bravo 1 and picked up 4 mph, the following season labbed the props to 31s and picked up another 2mph. Before Konrads we had a best speed of 82mph. Rick

kvogt; Kris I was hopeing your horsepower nos. would be closer to mine, at the time I was looking I was told I would have a 10 to 15% all around performance increase with the arnesons, X demension being a non issue. You are smokin running 90 in a flatdeck, youre closing in on RMPRam , the fastest flatdeck I have heard of. Rick

Mark do you spin your props in or out? Kool-aid's turn in on his gun. Running mine in on my Formula gains some speed/bow lift. I get about 70-71 with the maximus 5 blades 26p turning in.

I believe my motors make around 600ish hp. Kris would know! Love these little motors!

Mark; 69 to 70 seems about right, really? At what RPM do your motors develop 600 hp and are you running the drive spacer in your Konrads ? Rick
